How do I get my child tested for Dyslexia?

According to Dyslexia Action, in the UK it is estimated that 6.3 million people have some form of Dyslexia.  This equates to about 1 in ten people showing symptoms of Dyslexia.  So it is not difficult to assume that in a class of 30 students there are probably at least three students who could be struggling with their coursework, through no fault of their own and might be confused as to why they are not seeing greater progress.

If you are a parent and you suspect that your child might have dyslexia then you can help them by submitting them for a Dyslexia test or assessment.

With an assessment, you are then able to strengthen any request for support from the school or college that your child might be attending.
