Dyslexic Inspiration - Piper Otterbein
In the years that I have been exploring Dyslexia, I have seen so many inspiring stories about adults that have pulled through education whilst living with the challenges of dyslexia. I can't feature all of them but from time to time I like to showcase a talk or story that I think sends a really powerful message about what we can gain from having dyslexia.
Piper Otterbein, from Savannah, Georgia in the United States did this TED Youth talk some years ago and I would like to share it with you.
For me it highlights the struggle that our children with dyslexia go through at school and how with the right support and understanding they can come of age and deliver their potential.
I am hoping to get Piper to contribute to this blog and will let you know when that happens.
Enjoy!
